Drug makers give billions
A recent article in The Chronicle of Philanthropy highlights the significant contributions USAID and pharmaceutical companies have made towards the global progress of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) elimination and control.
“The real benefits are starting to show up around the world, which is pretty exciting, and that is going to continue,” says Emily Wainwright, senior operations adviser for the USAID’s NTD Program.
